The acclaimed UrbanCouture fashion program will once again produce another spectacular event. Patterns, colors, textiles, and silhouettes will overwhelm the senses.
The Historic Grady Gymnasium will radiate with an ambience of luxury and elegance.
Twelve (12) senior designers, the same group that brought you Doggies on the Catwalk, will present an extravagant array of superlative fashion lines that will inspire the way you think about fashion. The original and elaborate ensembles incorporate each designer's distinct style in a new aged couture approach cultured by Founder and Educator, E. Vincent Martinez.
Seven years ago, E. Vincent Martinez launched UrbanCouture with just 40 students. Today, the 100-student program is a foundation of the school’s arts academy. Dozens of Grady students serve as models, lighting and sound technicians, graphic designers, musicians, volunteers and more. This alluring environment grants the freedoms and expressions, which arm the students with the confidence to pursue careers in fashion design.
The Senior Fashion Collections will be unveiled Saturday, May 15th at 8:00 PM in the Grady High School Gymnasium. Tickets on sale at www.seatyourself.biz/gradyhighschool for $20.00. For more information, email: urbancouture@comcast.net or call E. Vincent Martinez at 404-216-8722.
